Pyramids of Giza
Giza Pyramids where you will visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, then the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified King Chephren’s dead body. You will also get a close-up look at The Sphinx – the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and King Chephren’s head. Inside any of the pyramids is not included because additional tickets must be purchased during the trip.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in Egypt’s Giza pyramid complex, which borders modern-day El Giza. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that has survived in substantial part.
Khafre’s Pyramid
During the Old Kingdom Period of Ancient Egypt, circa 2540 BC, the second largest pyramid at Giza and in Egypt was built for Khafre, the third pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty. Khafre, also known by the Greek name Chephren, was the son of Khufu, the Notable Pyramid’s father, and the grandson of Sneferu, another great Egyptian architect. External visits are included, but inside the pyramid are not since additional tickets must be purchased during the visit.
Great Sphinx
The Sphinx, with its lion’s body and King Chephren’s head, is a mythical protector that supposedly watches over the massive cemetery.
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
The Egyptian Museum, one of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts, is located in Downtown Cairo, on the north side of Midan Tahrir. The brilliant jewels of Tutankhamun and other renowned pharaohs lie beside the burial goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls, and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history inside the vast domed, curiously pinkish edifice. A walk around the museum is a voyage through time.
Khan Al-Khalili
Khan El-Khalili, located in Old Cairo, was first established as a cultural and commercial hub in the 14th century. Explore the Khan El-Khalili market and its environs with this helpful guide!
